In therapy, I always strive to create a safe environment and investigate the true cause of the patient’s difficulties. It is important to me that the patient understands this cause themselves. I am particularly interested in the functioning of the female body during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. This led me to focus primarily on pelvic floor and its dysfunctions (including in men), which I began studying during my education and later in practice at the Rehabilitation Clinic and Sports Medicine Department at Motol University Hospital. Working with the pelvic floor fulfills me because it can be surprisingly effective and can help alleviate difficulties that can greatly impact one’s quality of life.
